The Vertere Super Groove Precision Tonearm (SG-PTA) is a high-performance analogue tonearm designed to extract the finest musical details from every record groove. Drawing on technologies developed for Vertere’s flagship Reference Tonearm, the SG-PTA combines innovative engineering, premium materials, and meticulous craftsmanship to deliver remarkable accuracy, stability, and musical engagement.

At the heart of the SG-PTA is Vertere’s unique Tri-Point Articulated (TPA) Bearing system. Utilizing three precision silicon nitride balls and a stainless-steel pivot, the design minimizes bearing chatter and unwanted movement, allowing the cartridge stylus to track the groove with exceptional precision. The result is improved clarity, enhanced dynamics, and a more natural presentation of music.

The tonearm features a non-resonant roll-wrapped carbon fibre arm tube paired with a precision-machined aluminium alloy headshell. This lightweight yet highly rigid construction maximizes information retrieval while reducing unwanted coloration, preserving the integrity of the musical signal.
